Logistics Freight RFP

Sims Recycling Solutions, Inc. (SRS), the global leader in electronics reuse and recycling along with Sims Metal Management LTD (SMM), the world’s largest publicly listed metal recycler, are seeking to standardize their transportation network. Sims Recycling Solutions has 10 North American facilities and Sims Metal Management has 82 North American facilities.

Overview of the RFP Process

Below are four separate RFPs:

  • Drayage RFP
  • Truckload RFP
  • Less-Than-Truckload RFP
  • White Glove (Loose) Pick-Ups RFP

Within each RFP are two documents, a Word file and an Excel file, in Microsoft Office 2003 format.  To open a file place the cursor over the name of the file, and click once to view RFP.

 

Truckload RFP (SRS and SMM)

Please follow the instructions in the Truckload RFP letter (word document). Complete Exhibit A-1 Carrier Profile & Information in its entirety then complete Exhibits B through C series for only those moves and lanes in which you have consistent availability of equipment.
